  When choosing a corn milling line, you need to comprehensively consider the characteristics of raw materials, finished product requirements, production scale, budget, energy consumption and post maintenance and other factors

  

I. Define production requirements

1. Raw material characteristics

Corn varieties: common yellow corn, white corn, glutinous corn, high oil corn (affecting the difficulty of de-embryoization).


Moisture content: general requirements ≤ 14% (too high need to be dried first).


Impurity content: high rate of impurity needs to strengthen the cleaning process (such as increasing the specific gravity of de-stoning machine).


2. Requirements for finished products

Second, the core equipment selection

1. Cleaning equipment

Initial clearing screen: to remove large impurities (straw, stones).


Magnetic separator: necessary to prevent metal damage to subsequent equipment.


Specific gravity de-stoning machine: recommended choice (especially when the raw material contains a lot of sand and gravel).


2. Debarking and de-embryoing equipment

High de-embryoing rate is required: choose combined de-embryoing machine (de-embryoing rate ≥90%).

Roller mill saves 30%-50% energy than hammer flake type.


Large lines are recommended to be equipped with frequency converter to adjust the power.

Prefer suppliers that provide installation and commissioning, technical training.


Whether the wearing parts (screen mesh, grinding roller) are easy to replace.
